Millennium Challenge Account – Indonesia (MCA-Indonesia) is a trustee institution that represents the Government of Indonesia to implement a five-year (2013-2018) Millennium Challenge Corporation’s  Compact Program, a major pillar of the United States-Indonesia Comprehensive Partnership and the largest single pledge made by the United States to Indonesia to date.


MCA-Indonesia has three projects under Compact Program: Green Prosperity, Community-based Health and Nutrition to Reduce Stunting and Procurement Modernization. Our projects are designed, managed and implemented by Indonesians, for the Indonesian people. Our most important development work happens where it should be: the districts and the villages.


Our goal is to reduce poverty through economic growth. Our program is country-driven, reform-centered, and results-focused in order to maximize its effectiveness and long-term sustainability.


To reach the goal, MCA-Indonesia is seeking highly dynamic and deliverable-oriented professionals for a better Indonesia :



Nutrition Specialist 


The Nutrition Specialist will support the Director of Community-based Health and Nutrition Project in :

  • Ensuring the technical aspects of the Community-based Health and Nutrition Project, considering the most updated scientific evidence of the cost-effective health and nutrition interventions.
  • Ensuring the successful planning, implementation, monitoring, and completion of the project activities and achievement of the project objectives.
  • Ensuring the sustainability of the project after the compact closure.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to the Director in
  • The planning, development and implementation of technical resources, including guidelines and modules of training, capacity building and campaign on Maternal, Infant and Young Child Feeding, Case Management of Severe Acute Malnutrition, Growth Monitoring and Promotion, Triggering Sanitation;


  • Establish and maintain effective relations, and coordinate efforts with the Government of Indonesia such as Ministry of Health, Bappenas, Ministry of Home Affairs and stakeholders of the Community-based Health and Nutrition Project, including relevant international donors (e.g. World Bank, USAID), International technical Agencies (e.g. GAIN, WHO, UNICEF), NGOs (e.g. HKI, CARE), and the private sectors;
